8 years ago today we went on our first date! He was a client at an advertising agency I used to work for 🤓 I was 23, he was 33! Little did he know what he was getting himself Into 🙄 8 years and 2 kids later, this picture describes us the most 😬 To many more dates, fights (I’m the one who ends up saying sorry all the time😒), happy moments, stupid ones too, laughters, failed diets, failed recipes, night pigging and most importantly Love ♥️ If you’re interested, the full story on how we met, got engaged (you don’t wanna miss the proposal 🤦🏻♀️) and got married is on the blog (miras blog section, part 1 and 2) Link in bio

In a nutshell, the @popeyeslouisianakitchen Spicy Fried Chicken sandwich was better before they took a break. Had it yesterday and it felt well, more like fast food. Quality-wise it was lacking, mostly because of the chicken patty. It felt and tasted like it was frozen and then re heated, the bun was flimsier, and the fixings were seriously limited. All a bit uninspired 😭 Hey Popeyes, did you pull it off the shelf to figure out how to make it more financially beneficial to the corporation? Did Popeyes cut costs so they could crank out more of these and not take such a big hit? I truly felt like the first time I had it, it tasted restaurant quality. Now it kinda tastes like a McDonald’s fried chicken sandwich. Rubbery, smaller in size, and not nearly as flavorful. People have gone nuts for this thing, like seriously to the point of ⚰️. I too was in love the first I had it, but now I find myself not buying into the hype as much. Was it a fluke? Did we all just get excited because EVERYONE was talking about it? Is this how marketing works?
