🍯 This honey toned color with her eyes and complexion is just UGH, so gorgeous! A lot of times I have clients referring to colors as “honey toned” when it’s no where near the true color of honey 😂 What I would consider a true honey tone has the following:
1) It should be dark blonde to light brown.
2) It should have LOTS of warmth!
If you hate warmth or want your hair to be light blonde or dark brown, do NOT ask your stylist for “honey-toned”! I know we all have different ideas when it comes to color descriptions, which is why I typically dislike food descriptions for hair color 🤣 The best idea is to always come with lots of photos that showcase what you DO and DON’T like. What you call it at that point doesn’t really matter. 😄
A micro wave (baby lights) works well for those who want more of a natural seamless color. Her natural 7 base using a high lift color instead of using lightener I brought her to a nice golden beige blonde. Dry cut + color by me
