¡Viva México! ❤️💚🇲🇽💚❤️
Sushi and a beer while wandering barrio Buenos Aires in Medellin. Mercado del Tranvía was super hip and reminded us of Telefonica Gastro Park in Tijuana, another gem if wandering that way! Now back to the wander 🇨🇴❤️
KL is currently taken over by this haze coming from the rainforest fires in Indonesia. So there’s a thick smokey layer blocking the sun. Not great for breathing. I ventured around KL’s independence square to admire the colonial buildings surrounding it. The Sultan Abdul Samad Building is the stunner built in the Moorish-style & it’s clock tower was supposed to modeled after the Big Ben.
The futuristic look and feel of Bukit Bintang, the most happening area of KL.
24hrs in Kuala Lumpur & of course, I had to see the most famous KL structure. It is quite a spectacular architecture to see in person. It was designed by an Argentine, César Pelli, & I read that it’s a tube in tube design. I’m hiding from view are the hoards of other tourists taking photos & equally numbered, are the guys who are trying to sell you camera lens.
A stolen moment. I woke up very early in the morning to make most of whatever time I had left in Da Nang. I hastily took this photo when I saw this old school looking coffee shop with the owner enjoying a bit of solitude before the start of the day.
Of all the times I’ve visited, I finally happened to walk passed the Da Nang Cathedral. It was built in 1923, uniquely pink, & is fondly called the Con Ga church because a rooster stands above on the steeple.
The morning breakfast rush. A typical scene pretty much anywhere in Vietnam before work, school, & life begin. They are early birds type of people.
The beachfront before the arrival of thunderstorms.
After many hours of travelling time, I was back to Danang. It was 33C today but with the humidity index, felt like 49C. I used to stay in the city centre but there’s been so much development on the beach side that it’s now my preferred area of choice. Lots of local food options (also expat food) & the beach is steps away.
