I bloody love elephants. Back in 2015 I spent hours researching elephant sanctuaries in Chiang Mai and found @baan_chang_elephant_park. They seemed to have a genuine love and concern for elephants that they had rescued from abuse, such as elephant dancing, taxiing and circus tricks. It still remains the best day of my life - we got to learn about the rescue efforts, feed, bathe and ride the elephants (bareback, no harmful chains etc - it actually helps them exercise). Highly recommend if you’re ever in Chiang Mai ๐๐
